Amar Sagar, eternal lake in Sanskrit, is a lake oasis next to the Amar Singh Palace in Jaisalmer, in the Thar desert in Rajasthan, northern India. Stairs of the palace lead directly to the lake. Cenotaphs and temple buildings are immersed in the lake water. There are various stalls of traditional dresses and memorabilia at the entrance of the lake, and paddle boats are available for hire to carry tourists. Amar Sagar Lake is a popular tourist attraction, and attracts hundreds of visitors every day.
