Bob Bender (78) quietly celebrates man's centennial in flight in his own way. Bender comes to Hanger B at the Floyd Bennett Field in Brooklyn three times a week, showing his planes to children of all ages. Bob's small planes are powered by rubber band only. He winds them up and lets them circle inside the hanger. He served in Army Air Forces in 1943 as a Radio Technician.
