5x5 is an ambitious project by the DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities where five curators from around the world selected five artist who creates works of art placed throughout the city. The temporary exhibition ends in December.

Here she combines both cultures in intricate Islamic patterns that cover the windows of this former , now abandoned, library on 13th and H Sts., Northeast, Washington, DC. In this one are monuments in Washington, DC and in Tehran.
