Elvis Impersonators Make Bid For World Record

ANTRIM, NORTHERN IRELAND - APRIL 25: Martin Rice also known as 'Big Elvis' stands alone at the assembly point for the Guinness Book of World Record for the largest gathering of Elvis Presley impersonators on April 25, 2015 in Antrim, Northern Ireland. Sadly only a handful of Elvis' turned out for the event so the bid was unsuccessful. Organiser Julie Robinson said the aim of the world record attempt was to raise money for two charities, Cancer Research and the Fermanagh Talking Newspapers for the Blind charity. Other activities at the abandoned Nutts Corner airfield site included pig racing, an Elvis open microphone tent and various fairground rides.
