150th Birth Anniversary Celebration Of Swami Vivekananda

NEW DELHI, INDIA JANUARY 12: Prime Minister Manmohan Singh with UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi at the closing ceremony of the commemoration of the 150th Birth Anniversary of Swami Vivekananda at Vigyan Bhawan on January 12, 2014 in New Delhi, India. During a function Culture Minister Chandresh Kumari Katoch said, 54 proposals involving an estimated cost of Rs 253 crore have been approved to propagate teachings of Swami Vivekananda and were at different stages of implementation. Swami Vivekananda was an Indian Hindu monk. He was a key figure in the introduction of the Indian philosophies of Vedanta and Yoga to the western world.
