Surfer Paul Vanderheiden, 26, of Hermosa Beach, exits the surf at 27th Street in Manhattan Beach, near where a raw sewage spill occurred last week. Harvey said there are risks in every sport and getting sick is a risk for surfers on a daily basis. Lifeguards have removed the warning tape from the beach and is deemed safe for surfing at the time the photo was taken.
