Debutantes Attend The Russian Ball In London

LONDON, ENGLAND - NOVEMBER 02: (EDITORS NOTE: Image has been converted to black and white.) Young mainly Russian debutantes prepare backstage before their performance at Old Billingsgate Hall on November 2, 2014 in London, England. Debutantes attended the second ever London based Russian Ball at Old Billingsgate Hall. The ball marks the 'coming out' into society of 60 young women who are partnered for the evening by 60 young men. The successful debutantes were selected earlier this year from over 500 applicants and both the young men and women have to be single and aged between 16-25. Dance lessons are given ahead of the ball and during the evening the 1,000 guests also watch a performance by the Russian Virtuosi of Europe chamber orchestra.
