The dried out and cracked open riverbed of the Rhine in Cologne, Germany. Due to no rain and high temperatures, the water level of the Rhine is very low. Commercial boats are only allowed to carry half of their load and have to reduce their speed so they dont run aground. Experts estimate in future years the water level of the Rhine will fall so drastically that it will be possible to walk over the Rhine on foot. This is a impact of the manmade climate change.
