(Original Caption) Admiral Lord Mountbatten, (right/background), who relinquished his post as Commander in Chief of NATO Naval Forces in the Mediterranean to become first Lord of the British admiralty, was presented with a Scroll of Honor in a ceremony at S.H.A.P. Headquarters, "For Outstanding Services Rendered to The Free World." In return, Lord Mountbatten presented Shape with an autograph photograph of himself being rowed to his ship by five admirals after he had left his headquarters at Malta for the last time.
