February 23, 2011 Grimbergen Dubbel draught, the legendary Belgian abbey beer whose roots go back to medieval times, will make its official Canadian debut on Wednesday, February 23, 2011, in Toronto. Abbot Erik De Sutter and Father Karel Stautemas from the Grimbergen Abbey in Belgium are flying in to host a special event at the Bier Markt in Toronto. They will conduct formal tastings and share the history of this fascinating beer with media and special guests from across Canada.
