Guatemala's President Alvaro Arzu speaks to the public and members of the press 16 October to declare three days of national mourning after at least 82 fans were crushed to death as fans shoved their way into a packed Mateo Flores sports stadium in Guatemala City. Arzu suspended the World Cup qualifying match between Guatemala and Costa Rica which was scheduled to take place at the stadium 16 October.
