AUSCHWITZ BELGIAN PUPILS MEMORIAL TRIP

Auschwitz-Birkenau was a complex of over 40 concentration and extermination camps operated by Nazi Germany in occupied Poland (in a portion annexed into Germany in 1939)[3] during World War II and the Holocaust. From Belgium, some 25,000 jews and 350 gipsy people were transported during World War II. 23,000 of them were killed at the camp.
