Information of her death was provided during a labour dispute and the judges ruled against the alleged beneficiaries - the husband and son, who were absent at the hearing. "The complainant affirmed that Ms. Pouchain was dead, without proof, and everyone believed her. Nobody checked anything," laments Sylvain Cormier, the lawyer for Pouchain.
