PARIS, FRANCE - 2024/01/30: Maryam Rajavi, the President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran, addresses the conference and said, "The appropriate response should be to recognize and support the Iranian people's struggle for the overthrow of the clerical regime. We advocate for the establishment of a democratic alternative that upholds the separation of religion and state, gender equality, autonomy for ethnic minorities, abolition of the death penalty, and a commitment to a non-nuclear Iran - a republic living in peace and friendship with the entire world."
