ST PETERSBURG, RUSSIA - 2023/08/24: A member of the Wagner group honors the memory of Yevgeny Prigozhin at a spontaneous memorial near the PMC Wagner Center in St. Petersburg. On Wednesday, August 23, the Federal Air Transport Agency confirmed in a statement the death of 10 people who were on board a business jet belonging to businessman and founder of Wagner PMC Yevgeny Prigozhin, which crashed in the Tver region, Russia. The Federal Air Transport Agency also confirmed that Yevgeny Prigozhin was on the list of 10 people on board, among whom 3 were crew members. Also on this list was Prigozhin's right hand, Dmitry "Wagner" Utkin. The Investigative Committee of Russia has launched a preliminary investigation into the crash of Prigozhin's plane.
