Hollywood police were "stumped" when children and wives of striking Conference of Studio Unions members formed a picket line in front of Columbia Studios. Although the tiny pickets had to struggle to keep their strike placards straight, there was no disorder. The "diaper demonstration" was staged when CSU officials announced the failure of the Chicago AFL Convention to settle Hollywood's jurisdictional dispute.
