Vitas Gerulaitis of Howard Beach, New York, the only member of the squad to be coached personally by Hopman in the U.S.A squad of 26 junior American tennis players played practice games against Australian juniors at White City Courts today. The Americans aged between 14 and 18 years, are completing a ten day visit under the guidance of coach Harry Hopman. They have played on grass courts at Melbourne,Shepparton and today White City to gain experience in Australian conditions. April 06, 1972.
