Israelis hold mass marijuana smoking protest in Tel Aviv

Several dozens of Israelis have gathered for a sit-down mass marijuana smoking protest in Gan Meir public park in Tel Aviv calling for the full legalization of marijuana in Israel. The Israeli government gave the green light to plans to decriminalize marijuana use in public spaces. Under the new rules those who break the law will have to undergo treatment or pay fines rather than face criminal charges.
