Turkish chicken lays giant egg with another egg inside

AYDIN, TURKEY - JULY 27: Though the egg-inside-of-an-egg phenomenon is rare, it happened in western Turkey. It's due to a counter-peristalsis contraction, which happens when an egg is pushed back up into the chicken's reproductive system and becomes embedded in another newly forming egg.A hen in Aydin province laid a giant egg which contained another egg inside it.Kenan Yildirim, who lives in the Kızılguney neighborhood of Cine district, saw a larger egg than usual ones in the henhouse.When Yildirim cracked the egg, which he measured with the ruler as 8 centimeters in length, the egg revealed a yolk and another fully formed egg inside.Yildirim videoed the freaky moments at his house yard while he was cracking the big egg.Yildirim said on Monday (July 27) he noticed the rare egg when he was collecting the eggs from the henhouse.“It was two times bigger than normal eggs... At first, I thought if the egg was an egg or something else. I shook it, there was a clattering sound from it.” he said.“I cracked the egg and I saw another egg in white and yolk.
