Annona glabra is a tropical tree in the family of Annonaceae. The tree is native to Florida in the United States, the Caribbean,Central and South America and West Africa. They grow in swamps and is tolerant of salt water. The fruit is about the size of an apple and ripens to yellowish clor. The flowers have three petals and inner petals. The trunk sometimes grow in clumps. Although it is edible for humans it has not become popular but it is a good food source for many animal species.
