Twelve Days of Christmas

Previously unissued photo dated 18/12/12 of Glasgow Museum employee Joe O'Hara and an Indian painting of Krishna and the Gopis by an unknown artist, that depicts the cowgirls who devoted their unconditional love to him, pictured at the Glasgow Museum Resource Centre, and representing the Eight Maids-a-Milking during a Twelve Days of Christmas themed tour organised by the museum. The maids refer to the women who would milk the cows to obtain the milk in the first place, however, the term maid is also the shortened form of maiden which is a young, unmarried, woman.
