Carlos Santana Hospitalized After Suffering Health Scare During Show Prep

Carlos Santana canceled his San Antonio concert on April 22, after dehydration caused him to be rushed to hospital. "Out of an abundance of caution and the health of Mr Santana, the decision to postpone the show was the most prudent course of action," Vrionis said. Footage recorded by Bryan Calloway shows ambulances outside the venue. Calloway said that he had come to the venue in the hope that he would meet the musician. "He waved on the way in, looked very frail and moving slow," Calloway said. Around 20 minutes later, "firetruck, ambulance, police, all showed up ... security was asking everybody to move back," he said.
