Rotherham Council Kicked Out After Abuse Report

The claims follow news that the cabinet of Rotherham Council has quit in response to the release of a report that concluded the authority was "not fit for purpose", citing "an archaic culture of sexism, bullying and discomfort around race". The inquiry was commissioned in the wake of the Jay Report into the town's Sex Abuse Scandal that said more than 1,400 children had been subjected to rape, violence and trafficking by gangs of mainly Asian men.
