ALEPPO, SYRIA - DEC. 13, 2024: Millions of Syrian people flooded the streets on Friday, Dec. 13, to celebrate the collapse of the 61-year-long Baath regime in Syria and the end of the Assad family’s rule in Syria. Footage from Aleppo province of Syria captured thousands of jubilant citizens celebrating the fall of Bashar al-Assad's regime. The celebrations followed the departure of Bashar al-Assad, Syria’s leader for nearly 25 years, who fled to Russia after anti-regime groups seized control of Damascus early Sunday.
